Maroon silk hikizuri with supplementary collar and hems, decorated outside and in. The decoration is raging waves with decorative folded papers. Hems are padded. This piece dates from the Taisho era, or Early Showa. There are the inevitable light makeup stains on collars, see photographs. The condition is excellent.
