Taisho / Early Showa silk wedding kimono. A quite coarse chiramon. Shibori clouds and painted umi blossom and bamboo. Gold thread embroidery added to parts. There is very slight discolouration to the cream ground. A few minor spots, but nothing really noticeable and some discolouration . Hems and cuffs have light padding. There is a secondary lining to the hem and sleeves. There are five paulownia crests. Overall condition is very good considering it’s antique status.
